To run alongside our Keelboat courses, we have started our RYA Theory courses. The first Dayskipper started on Thursday evening and will run for 8 evening ending with a weekend.
The course is designed to introduce you to chart work, position fixing, course plotting, IRPCS, day shapes, buoyage and much more. We need to cover 40 hours, so if you can't commit to 8 weeks, how about 5 days? All we need in a minimum a 3 people to run a course.
The Yachtmaster theory course will start in January 2010, and will be a similar format to the Dayskipper, 8 evenings followed by a weekend. This course can also be run in 5 days, so let us know when you want to do it.
