I grew up and learned to sail in Cornwall, before moving to the Isle of Wight in 2004. I began racing at the age of 7 and have been actively sailing in a variety of dinghies, keelboats and yachts ever since. I starting teaching sailing aged 14 at my local sailing club and soon became my chosen profession – leading me to teach in a number of watersports centres around the world. Now Solent-based, I have been actively involved in JP Morgan Round the Island Race, Cowes Week, Laser SB3 Nationals and 2 Laser SB3 world Championships. Now, as Director of Racing, I am pushing more race events for 2010 including City Racing Challenge, local club racing, and more Laser SB3 events as well as managing the Pro Team.
